I'm thinking about the rivalry between China, Japan, and Taiwan in North East Asia. The question is whether a stronger cultural exchange could emerge despite military competition, or if people might lean towards assimilation instead. It's a complex issue with a lot of factors to consider, such as historical relationships and current political climates. I wonder which aspects of culture would really shine in this exchange, and how people feel about these dynamics.
